CITO PLAST
The metal-based creasing system with plastic shoulders, usable for folding box board to corrugated board.

The extremely strong bonding between the metal base and plastic shoulders provides additional security. The smooth surface reduces optical degradation of the material and leads to a higher production output. Perfect handling through finger-lift.

This version works with reduced creasing height tooling. Due to the metal base an additional reduction of the creasing rule height of 0.1 mm is necessary. CITO PLAST is also deliverable in offcenter, reverse crease, hinge crease and double crease versions.  top

CITO PLAST Plus
Metal-based creasing system for reduced crease rule height tooling
a = metal base
c = creasing rule thickness

h= creasing matrix depth   top

CITO PLAST Off-Center
The metal base creasing strip; individually for double crease and small distances between cutting and creasing rules (e.g. window cuttings and glue flap areas)

The height of the metal base has to be taken into consideration when calculating the steel rule height.   top

CITO PLAST Double Crease
The metal base double creasing matrix fo r material between 200 g/m2 and 300 g/m2 (depending on the quality of the material even suitable for higher grammatures)

The height of the metal base has to be taken into consideration when calculating the steel rule height.   top

CITO PLAST Reverse Crease
The perfect solution for premium reverse crease how it is often used for inline cutting of corrugated board. Example: cutting from the reverse side of Leporellos. Due to the specially developed transfer profile for variable distances of creasing rules the correct creasing parameters can be used. Result: Crease and reverse crease in convincing top quality.
The special locator centers the reverse crease exactly between the creasing rules, thus the crease and reverse crease are of the same quality.
Calculation of Reverse Crease distance of creasing rules:

d = (g x 1.5) + c (for solid board)
d = (g x 2.0) + c (for corrugated board)
creasing rule height: h = f - (g + a)
a = base height of reverse crease
b = total height of reverse crease
c = width of creasing profile
d = distance of creasing rules
e = width of reverse crease
f = cutting rule height (23.8 mm)
g = thickness of material *
* in the case of corrugated board = compressed material thickness
h = creasing rule height   top

Plast Hinge Crease
Special product for corrugated board requiring creases that can be folded on both sides up to 90 degrees. We recommend using the creasing rules (3pt.) reversed in the cutting die.
A = cutting rule height
B = compressed corrugated board
C = hinge crease height (1.5 mm)
D = creasing rule height

Formula: D = A – C – B  top
